THE MAN IS DAVE KUSTIN
Dave created Gourmet Joe to help everyday people stop using delivery apps and start cooking. He did go to culinary school. He has worked the line, felt the heat, and earned his scars in real kitchens. But Gourmet Joe wasn’t born from fine dining – it was born from real life.
From cooking at home, for family, for friends, for the hell of it. From the belief that cooking shouldn’t be exclusive – it should be empowering.
He’s a creative and a builder who found clarity in the kitchen. Cooking gave him focus, rhythm, and a way to show up for himself and for others.
It started with Dave cooking out of necessity. Then he kept cooking out of love, curiosity, and discipline.
Somewhere between the chopping and the searing, he realized: Cooking isn’t about food. It’s about showing up.

Why He Built This
Because he got tired of watching smart, capable people feel helpless in their own homes. Tired of food apps replacing real action. Tired of perfectionism and performance killing joy and courage in the kitchen.
So he created Gourmet Joe – a movement. A call to everyday humans to step up, turn on the heat, and feed themselves with intention.
